I thought that they were using the Iberian voiceover actor to imply that, because of their accent, Spaniards were monkeys, like a different species. Dibujos animados (motion/"animated" pictures) is better, but monitos animados or simply monitos used to be kid slang in my country at the time, (and probably still is, not sure.) | |
