# Lists of words

Links to files containing lists of Spanish words, to use in applications or whatever:

* List with around 80K words, excluding variations of number, genre and verb conjugations (i.e. "famoso" is included, but not "famosa", "famosos" and "famosas"): https://github.com/javierarce/palabras/blob/master/listado-general.txt
* List with more than one million Spanish words, including variations of number, genre and verb conjugations: https://www.dropbox.com/s/28bqzpj6mdtucz6/es_ANY.txt?dl=0
* [Spanish Frequency Lists Compiled at Wiktionary](https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:Frequency_lists#Spanish) - almost 20 different lists here. Includes a list of the 2,000 most frequent Spanish nouns.
* [ 500 Most Common Verbs](http://www.englishnspanish.com/learn/verbs) - If you click on the Spanish verb it will open another window for you, linking you to a WordReference entry for the word. Site also gives you the opportunity to take any of 25 different quizzes. The verbs are in alphabetical order, not randomized, so it's a bit tedious because of that, but I think it's quite good.
* [50 most difficult Spanish words to pronounce](http://www.language-pro.info/most-difficult-spanish-words-to-pronounce/) - Pair this with a Memrise course of your own design and some audio recordings from Forvo and you'll master these in no time.
