I am a hobbyist programmer who likes to write useful code for others or myself. After trying out several languages over the last 20 years, I now mostly use Java and Python 3, and I am quite happy with them. I really like Python 3, but after looking for a long time, I couldn't find a nice way to make it print what I wanted. I also wasn't happy with the state of making GUI programs with it, so I moved to Java which does both well.
