Jan 24	comment	Significados de Fama Esta es una buena teoría; sin embargo debo anotar dos cosas: `1.` El enlace del supermercado "La Fama", es de Chile, no de Colombia, y en Chile no se usa `Fama` como sinónimo de carnicería (ver comentario de Dusan). `2.` Jamás he visto un supermercado -al menos importante- con ese nombre en Colombia. Dicho lo anterior, la teoría de César no es, en todo caso, inverosímil, pues pudieron haber existido mucho antes, por lo que le doy un +1 por el momento.

Encontré algunos enlaces en páginas de México y un par de enlaces en Argentina pero ninguno era claro en si `fama` se usaba, o no, como sinónimo de `carnicería`. Which one is called which is another story but one of them smells stronger than the other and has smaller leaves. The smell is about the same and taste is about the same.

Apr 17	comment	Shorter/alternate version of refrigerator +1 for suggesting `nevera`. `Frigorífico` is mostly used, at least in Colombia, to refer to really big (industrial-type) refrigerators. Home refrigerators are called `neveras` and I don't think I've heard a shorter name than that.
