After some beginner courses after work in New Zealand and London, I went to South America. As well as learning 'on the road', I did an intensive course in Mendoza, Argentina, with ECELA. Found it fascinating and very enjoyable, and would love to learn more!

Translating “actually” (as in a change of mind) The description from the false cognates page: "False cognates are pairs of words in the same or different languages that are similar in form and meaning but have different roots. That is, they appear to be, or are sometimes considered, cognates, when in fact they are not." Oddly this seems to be almost the same wording as false friends! |
