Well, "la única manera" is not very optimistic either hehe. But yeah, we use "no hay más remedio" when we don't like the solution.

Yeah, there is always more than one way to do things, so "the only way" is "the best way" hehe. Tienes razón, "lo mejor es" es la mejor traducción :P

comment “Sketchy” in Spanish
I can't find a word for that. I would use "peligroso" or "oscuro".

comment “Sketchy” in Spanish
I think that pintoresco is not used in that way. In Spain we use pintoresco for landscapes and places, not necessary bad or marginal (in fact pintoresco can be considered a "good thing").

comment What is the difference between “congestión del tráfico” and “congestión de tráfico”?
Both "embotellamiento" and "atasco" are used frequently in Spain. "Retención" (Hay retenciones en las entradas a Madrid) is also used, but it is more formal. "Congestión de tráfico" is less common.

comment nuevos zapatos por/para España?
I would use "deportivas" instead of "tenis" or "zapatos". In fact I've never heard "tenis" in that context...
