Both answers are informative. I use me gustaría when I want to call someone on the phone in a formal way. Por ejemplo me gustarîa hablar con José rather than using quiero hablar con María OR puedo hablar con Jesus.

You're right, its my mistake. It should be paguen. But why estén and not están?
