¿Cómo se dice “Christmas caroling” en español? Por pedir el aguinaldo se entiende el pedir una pequeña cantidad de dinero (óbolo) y lo que se ofrece a cambio es un villancico. El hecho de ir cantando de puerta en puerta sería eso: A las 8 de la tarde, iremos de puerta en puerta cantando villancicos. |

¿Se debe decir jefe o jefa al referirse a una persona de sexo femenino? ¡Correcto! Por eso hago notar que si aparece en el RAE conviene utilizar la forma femenina/masculina y sino dejarse llevar por el sentido común, lo que dice la calle y al mismo tiempo tratar de evitar herir susceptibilidades innecesariamente. |

How do you say “I got you!” in spanish I would say ¡Te pillé! if the other person was hidden. If it is more like a battle of snowballs then a good laugh and hide yourself just in case (las venganzas suelen ser terribles) |

“ir a «infinitive»” vs. future tense I'm not that sure about that ir a vs. future means how sure I am (I agree with @Miguel's answer spanish.stackexchange.com/a/3079/1146). Ir a is more something that you are going to start right now (like english going to while future means strength). |
