This isn't really a question, it's a request to review your translation. But this is not a translation reviewing service. Could you rephrase it to formulate a specific question? –  Chewie Jun 7 '13 at 11:18

As the others have said, as written, this isn't a constructive question. If you can edit it to ask about some specific aspect of your translation with which you are struggeling, you can flag this question and a moderator will gladly re-open it. –  Flimzy Jun 9 '13 at 4:09

In my opinion, a correct version would be:

La señal advierte al público que las fuertes lluvias probablemente trajeron consigo una seria inundación de carretera y congestión de tráfico.

Thank you! Why should we use "una" inundacion? There may be many at the same time. Should we say "inundaciones"? –  Cadenza Jun 7 '13 at 12:06
"Una" inundación is used for emphasizing the expression, I would say that without "una" is not common. Yes, it is also possible to say "... trajeron consigo inundaciones de carretera y ..." –  L30nardoSV Jun 7 '13 at 17:21
