I'm a native English speaker, and don't know what "Level-Setting" means. Can you add some context? Perhaps a sentence in which the term is used? – Flimzy Aug 21 '12 at 4:59
¿level setting → «nivel de configuración»? – pferor Aug 22 '12 at 20:14
I have closed this question, as it is entirely unclear what is being asked. If you can edit the question to explain what "Level-Setting" means, I will be happy to re-open it for you. – Flimzy Aug 23 '12 at 6:28
Level setting as it applies to both corporate culture and information sharing... It means to get everyone on the same page or to bring everyone up to speed, or (without using english idioms) to share information so that everyone has the same understanding of the subject matter... It is a real question and I am ok with using a Spanish idiom, but I didn't think any of the idioms I used above made sense in Spanish. – Rikon Aug 24 '12 at 13:59
@Rikon: You may try explaining "level-setting" in Spanish. Maybe it'll be clearer that way. – CesarGon Aug 25 '12 at 22:04

It's difficult to tell what is being asked here. This question is ambiguous, vague, incomplete, overly broad, or rhetorical and cannot be reasonably answered in its current form. For help clarifying this question so that it can be reopened, see the FAQ.

1.- Not sure if I understand the question here, you want to translate the prase "Level-Setting" into Spanish but you don't want to use English/American Idioms?

2.- In what context do you want to translate the phrase level-setting? Construction, Computers, Gaming, Education? could you please clarify?

Thanks.
I'm writing the following section in Spanish since you are mentioning you are a native spanish speaker:

1.- No creo entender la pregunta, quieres traducir la frase "Level-Setting" sin usar anglicismos? Creo que si la vas a traducir no necesitarías de ellos, ahora que si lo que quieres es buscar sinónimos, es diferente, pudieras por favor clarificar.

2.- ¿ En qué contexto está o va a ser usada esta frase? ¿Construcción, Computación, Juegos, Educación? Creo que pudieran existir sutiles diferencias o términos más apropiados en diferenes áreas.

Gracias.

Ah, thanks. I'm so accustomed to using it the corporate sense or in the educational sense that I'd forgotten it's other uses. It would be in the context of level setting people to get everyone on the same page but I didn't want to use (what I thought) was a purely English idiom to do it. Is there a Spanish phrase or idiom that would convey this? – Rikon Aug 21 '12 at 14:59
