Help > Adding and removing login credentials
Editing your logins for your account give you added control over your account security. Doing so means you'll never be locked out of your account.
To edit your logins, follow these steps:
-
Open up your user profile page on any Stack Exchange site. Then, click the "my logins" link above the bio box on the right hand side.

- This should bring up a pop-up that lists your logins. You should see little gray X's next to each login. Clicking one of those will remove that login from your account.
-
To add a login, click "add more logins..." at the bottom of the box. Choose your new OpenID login and follow the steps to confirm. You should be routed back to Stack Exchange.
